yes the VX400 Clarion, just like any other Double Din I explored, studied and played with has it's flaws. But pound for pound this is a great bunch. I'd like to give a 5 star but could have more bells, whistles and offers trivial to make a perfect 5 Star units. At the same time, no other unit offers what I would like to see added to so maybe I'm being a bit 'hard.

As others have pointed out the upgrade options are a huge plus for this unit. You can add GPS to a reasonable price, HD Radio, Backup camera, iPod connectivity ... However, outside of the box gives you a great deck w / nice options at a phenomenal price. Blue tooth built right in, internal memory for music playback VX400 Clarion, an interface very simple and straight forward, easy to navigate which is actually very intuitive.The sound quality is excellent, the video quality is quite normal, but maybe I'm just too used to watching Blu Ray now, calls are easy, pairing blue tooth is so simple as it gets, clear and functional, the buttons are conveniently located and easy access / use (even if it does come w / a distance as well) ... It 's just as easy to use drive straight ahead....
