- REMOTE CONTROL - this is by far the most impressive feature! I can watch a live feed from home via the Internet. The manual was a bit 'difficult, but I eventually found my way around and got it to work. I can also access the video recorded by the DVR and watch videos from all over the month. And just like a YouTube video buffer, and the GUI (graphical user interface) is relatively easy to navigate. Way easier than the real DVR menu (see below cons on the DVR menu) - Remote monitoring live has a delay of 5-6 seconds, and the video is choppy.Do not display real-time video monitoring from a distance. This may be because I have slow DSL, that can influence the delay, but the choppiness is still there when they are connected through the router. It's not that bad I think, is better than no video at all from a distance. The audio is real time though. - You can not delete individual video files. If you take something on video that you want to go, you can not delete it. You must wait until the hard drive fills up and over-writes the video in question, or format the entire hard drive and erase everything.This is a good feature for some reason, and bad for other reasons. Just make sure to watch what you do on camera if you're not the only one who can watch the video....
